The smallest Savanah park in Uganda extending over 370squ.km is highly populated is gifted with a high population of fauna. Animals like zebra, impala, buffalo defassa waterbuck, eland, hippo, eland, topi, and leopard among others are quite easily seen. However if you are not lucky with leopard with day game drives, you stand a better chance during night game drives. There is a relatively high population of leopards because of less competition from other carnivores majorly the lion.
With over 350 bird species, Lake Mburo is good place to watch birds for example the Red faced barbet, Crested barbet, African Finfoot to mention but a few. If you are lucky, you would be happy to spot the shoebill.
