2 Days Nyungwe Chimpanzee Trekking

OVERVIEW

This trip is meant for those with a very limited time and still want to make most of it. It is very important to note that the success of this depends on the time of your flight on the last day of your trip. We strongly recommend that you book this trip only if you are sure that your flight is at 8pm or after. Should you fail to find a flight on your last day, consider an extra night. This activity filled is what you need to explore Rwanda in the shortest time possible. It begins with a city tour and genocide memorial visit and ends with gorilla tracking in Volcanoes National Park.

YOUR ITINERARY

After a very early breakfast, you will drive to Nyungwe Forest National Park, the journey is expected to take up to five hours of drive time and check in at the Uwinka Visitor’s Center in Nyungwe Forest. Here, you will have a briefing form the park ranger before entering the forest for a canopy walk. This adventurous activity may take you a maximum of two hours before proceeding to your lodge.
After breakfast, we will head to for our morning Chimpanzee trekking in the forest, activity is expected to last between 1 to 2 hours. After Chimpanzee trekking we shall have some refreshments and get on our way back to Kigali.
