The 4 days Uganda double gorilla trekking allows one to encounter endangered primates twice in their natural habitat. The gorilla treks will happen in two sectors of Bwindi national park and you will as well visit two gorilla families.

Arrival
Depending on your location, your driver will come pick you and head onto the journey from Kampala to Rushaga sector in Kisoro district. This journey takes about 7 to 8 hours making a few stops at the equator to have some lunch and refreshments. Once you reach, you will be taken to a lodge near Rushaga sector in Bwindi national park, have dinner and an overnight stay.
Wake up and have an early breakfast and have some packed lunch. The driver will pick you and take you to the park headquarters where you will be briefed about gorilla trekking regulations the dos and don’ts in the presence of gorillas.
Once this session is done, you will be sent in the thicket and forest trees of Bwindi trekking for gorillas, this activity can take up to 2 hours depending on where gorillas will be found. Once you get to encounter them, you are given one hour to be with them as you observe their behaviors.
After this session, you will head back to the starting point and the driver will transfer you a lodge near the Nkuringo sector where you’ll have your second trek the next day.
Have an early morning breakfast and pack some lunch, the driver will take you to the park headquarters and attend the pre-trekking briefing where you are guided on how to behave in the presence of gorillas. After the briefing, with the help of an experienced guide, you will be guided through the forests looking for these gorillas.
Once you get to encounter them, you are given one hour to be in their presence at a reasonable distance. After the trekking, you can go back to the starting point and meet your driver who will take you back to your lodge to relax and have an overnight stay.
This marks the end of your 4 days Uganda double gorilla trekking safari. Wake up early in the morning and have breakfast. The driver will pick you up and head out to the journey back to Kampala. You can have a few stops at the equator, relax, have lunch and have some refreshments.
