Bungee jumping is the ultimate adrenaline experience you will enjoy and much more at the longest river, the Nile. In this activity, you are tied two feet with a strong bungee cord and released to fall freely over a 44m cliff. You can chose to do a short fall where you float freely in the air like a bird or long fall where you get to touch the water of the River Nile at the bottom. The main thrill comes from falling freely then rebounding softly over and over before finally touching the waters. It is one of the scariest things but also most adventurous activity one can do in their lifetime.
HOW BUNGEE JUMPING IS ORGANISED
Bungee jumping starts with registering participants, payments and signing waiver forms. The waiver form ensures full ownership to any mishap and confirms consent of the participant. After the registration, participants are called out one at time for briefing while the others wait for their turn or cheer on from a balcony. Before jumping, the individual is dressed up in the right jumping gear. Both legs are tied with a single rope to allow the participant fall freely letting the bungee them smoothly as they touch the Nile. First timers and those afraid of heights are advised not to look down before the jump as it may be too intimidating. After taking the jump, guides with safety boats are waiting for you at the bottom and will untie the knot and take you to rest. The feel is exciting and leaves many with the desire to go back for another round.
