HOW TO GET THERE
Semliki Valley National Park is one of the less visited parks in Uganda. This great park is located in Bundibugyo district near the Congo border. It is accessible by road from Kampala via the Fort portal highway. The road trip offers fascinating views of the rolling hills mixed with smiling faces of the locals. On arrival, you can spend the night in Fort portal and the neighboring towns.
WHEN TO VISIT
The semliki valley is largely covered in tropical rainforest and lush vegetation which makes it possible to receive rain all year round. Even then, the dry months of June to August and December to February are more preferred to visit this beautiful gem.
