Having had breakfast, meet your driver guide and set off for your 2 to 3 hours’ drive to Jinja traversing through suburbs of Mukono with an enroute at Mabira central forest reserve where you will encounter forest birds and primates as you take on a nature walk. Proceed with your journey, crossing the bridge to arrive at a restaurant in Jinja for lunch. After lunch, advance for a boat cruise to explore the source of the Nile with visits to Gandhi’s monument and the old power dam areas as you take photos and spot various water birds. If time allows, you will make visits to historical sites of Bujagali ancestral sites and Busoga king’s palace before you retire to go check-in at a reserved lodge for dinner and a night stay of your Uganda Safari.
Having had your mouthwatering breakfast, head for a visit to Itanda falls with your driver guide where you will have the best whitewater adventure on the Nile as you enjoy the sights and sound of the Itanda birds that will all delight you. You will then return at the lodge to have lunch and check-out to embark on your journey to Kapchorwa arriving in the evening to check-in at a lodge to relax, have dinner and an overnight.
Wakeup early to have breakfast and be driven for registration at the Sipi falls offices with packed lunch or snacks. Proceed for a full day hike with a help of a local guide as you penetrate through farms, green jungly landscape with lushes hoping to explore all the three water falls. You will first visit the lower falls as you enjoy its thunderous sound, continue to the middle falls known as Simba and later hike to the upper falls known as Ngasire as you will get to know about their formation and the origin of their names. Return to the lodge to relax your muscles, have dinner and an overnight as you wait to embark on your long drive in the next morning.
Arise early in the morning to have breakfast and check-out to catch your long drive far away in the northeastern to Kidepo National Park which is the most isolated National Park in the country. Along the way, you will have a lunch en-route as you proceed to have the best experience of the wild cats in the jungle. Arrival will be in the evening to check-in at a reserved lodge to have dinner and a night stay.
Wakeup to feed your intestines with mouthwatering breakfast and proceed to the savannah plains of Kidepo in a comfortable pop-up safari vehicle with our professional driver guide. Animals like Buffaloes, Giraffes, Bush pigs, Reedbucks, Hartebeests and many more will be spotted as their predators like Lions, Leopards, Cheetahs and others wait to grab them. Return back to the lodge for lunch and later hike to Mount Morungole where you will encounter the most indigenous cultural group known as the IK people. Enjoy their cultural habits, practices and norms as you interact with them and later return to the lodge to have dinner and an overnight.
You will wake-up early in the morning to have breakfast, meet your driver guide to embark on your 7 to 8 hours journey to Murchison falls National Park traversing through the Narus valley of Kidepo to have a glance at animals that you could have missed out on your Uganda Safari game drive. You will have a lunch en-route in the northern city known as Gulu city proceeding to arrive in the evening to check-in at a booked lodge for your dinner and a night stay.
After your morning breakfast, head for a cruise at to the bottom of the falls as you sail towards the dramatic Murchison falls. During your cruise, you will encounter classes of Hippopotamuses, crocodiles and various water birds as you witness the energy of the falls as water surges through a 7meter narrow gorge which is so thrilling to capture. Return to the lodge to have lunch and later proceed to the jungle to explore the beauty of the park as you are assured of spotting animals like Buffaloes, Giraffes, Hartebeests, Oribis, Hyenas, Lions to mention but a few. Retire off the jungle back to the lodge to have dinner and a night stay.
Very early in the morning, have a scrumptious breakfast, meet your driver guide and set off for Kibale National Park. This is a 5 to 6 hours’ drive with a lunch en-route along the way as you traverse through meandering roads and rolling hills covered with terraced tea plantations that are all worth capturing. Arrival will be in the late afternoon to check-in at a pre-arranged lodge in Kibale forest National Park for dinner and a night stay.
After breakfast, proceed to the park headquarters for a briefing about the Chimpanzee trekking etiquettes and immediately start on search of the Chimpanzees. This takes about 2 to 5 hours as you encounter several birds and other primates like L’Hoests monkeys, black and white colobus, blue monkeys and many more which are all so interesting. An hour will be allowed upon their location as you closely watch them go by their daily activities. Return to the lodge for lunch and later proceed for a visit to the Ndali-Kasenda crater Lakes of Nyabikere, Nkuruba, Kyantonde, Nyinambuga and others which all have magical views of rolling hills, Rwenzori mountains and good sites to view various bird species. Get back to the lodge for dinner and an overnight.
Arise in the morning to grab a cup of coffee/tea and vacate for a 2 to 3hours nature walk in Bigodi wetland as you enjoy its biodiversity and scenic beauty while you spot various birds for example the great blue Turaco, Parrots, Cranes, Kingfishers, Hornbills and many more. Be assured of encountering various mammals and primates like red colobus, black and white colobus, Baboons, blue monkeys and many more. Return back for lunch and later check-out to embark on your 1 to 2hours drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park with a stop over at the Equator in Kikorongo proceeding to arrive in the late afternoon to check-in at a lodge for dinner and an overnight.
This day starts with a breakfast, meet your driver guide and hit the savannah plains of Queen Elizabeth National Park while you spot early risers trying to feed when temperatures are still cool and as Nocturnals return to their hide outs. Animals like Buffaloes, Elephants, Bushbucks, Antelopes, Warthogs, Lions and many more will be viewed and later return to the lodge to have lunch.
After lunch, proceed for a magical boat cruise on Kazinga Channal as you sail through classes of Hippopotamuses and crocodiles while you view various birds roaming the channel and animals quenching their thirst on the Kazinga waters. Retire back to the lodge for dinner and an overnight.
This alluring day starts with a scrumptious breakfast, check-out of the lodge to meet your driver guide and catch your drive to Bwindi National Park as you traverse through the Ishasha sector where you will closely spot the uncommon tree climbing Lions proceeding to arrive at Buhoma sector in the afternoon to check-in at a lodge and have lunch.
Having had lunch, proceed to have the most gratifying cultural tour to the Batwa pygmy communities where you will enjoy their amazing ancient heritage and traditions for example how they hunted, lived in tree huts, prepared their meals and so on as you enjoy traditional stories told by our guide. Return to the lodge for dinner and a night stay.
After your hefty breakfast, proceed to have a briefing at the park headquarters about the gorilla trekking rules and regulations and gorilla family allocation. On this Uganda Safari the ranger guides will then lead you to the forests with walking sticks to start on these gentle giants’ search. This will take you 1 to 6hours locating a family as you spot various bird types and forest mammals enjoying their haven.
Enjoy an hour with them as you closely watch them enjoying the forests as you take videos and photos. Return to have lunch at the lodge and later check-out to hit the road to Mgahinga National Park. This will take you 3 to 4hours arriving in the evening to check-in at reserved lodge for dinner and a night stay.
Wakeup to have a hefty breakfast and immediately be driven to the park headquarters for a golden monkey trek briefing. You will then be led by a ranger guide to the bamboo forested areas of Mgahinga eager to encounter this endangered monkey specie. Their search may take 30minutes to 3hours depending on how far they moved in search for food as you spot several birds and forest animals.
Once a troop is located, you will spend an hour with them as you learn about their behaviors in their natural habitat. Get back to the lodge for lunch, check-out and embark on your safari to Lake Bunyonyi. This is a 2hours drive as you traverse through areas of Nyarusiza arriving in the late afternoon to check-in at the lodge for dinner and an overnight.
After a relaxed breakfast, you will head to Lake Bunyonyi where you will relax and chill out after days of treks in the forests as you canoe on Bunyonyi waters to explore some of its 29 islands for example Njuyeera, Bushara, Akampene and many more. Visiting Lake Bunyonyi’s islands will expose you to their history as you continuously watch various bird species since it’s a birders’ paradies with over 250 species.
Retire off the canoe to have lunch and later make a visit to the local communities of Bakiga and the Batwa where you will interact with them as they demonstrate their cultural heritage through storytelling, songs and dances. Return back to the lodge to have dinner and a night stay.
Arise so early in the morning to have breakfast and vacate to Lake Mburo National Park taking you about to about 5 hours arriving in the early afternoon to check-in at a reserved lodge for your lunch.
After lunch, you will proceed to Lake Mburo where you will conduct a boat cruise as you have clear sightings of Hippopotamuses and crocodiles while you spot flocks of small and big wild animals along the shores. For bird lovers, this is your moment as you will enjoy various birds roam the waters for example Kingfishers, Turacos, Narina trogon, fish eagles and many more. Get back to the lodge for dinner and an overnight.
Wakeup in the early morning, have breakfast and depart to the savannah grasslands of Lake Mburo National Park to conduct your last safari activity. You will have your best time as you see various wildlife birds and animals wander the park for example Elands, Impalas, Giraffes, Zebras, Reedbucks, Waterbucks, Oribis and many more.
After this thrilling activity, return to the lodge for lunch and check-out to commence on your drive back to Kampala with a stop-over at the Equator in Kayabwe to have that two hemispheres experience and souvenir acquisition from craft shops arriving in the evening at a hotel in Kampala for relaxation or a drop-off at the airport to catch your flight back.
